Introduction Level 3 Yoga Teacher Level 3 Pilates Teacher Fully insured I got on the yoga path back in 1999 when things were a bit too stressful for my liking. It wasn’t quite love at first asana, more like a very slow and subtle process that eventually, in 2007, made me decide to become a yoga teacher. My teaching style is vinyasa flow combined with the attention to precise alignment of the Iyengar tradition, which means students get to experience the breath-led flow of movement from one pose to the next and then sometimes hold poses for several breaths to explore and deepen and learn. I'm a great believer in ‘yogi’s choice’ and the idea that ‘your practice is your own’, so I give students options throughout so everyone, whatever their ability, can take responsibility for their own practice and have a good time on their mat. I have an ongoing love affair with pilates too. I completed my training as a mat-based instructor in 2010 and like to mix in a few pilates moves into my yoga classes and vice versa. My classes and private lessons are light hearted and varied – expect to be kept on your toes (sometimes literally!) and to have a laugh.
