Occupation	Model and DJ, cheesy but true. A model most of my life, living abroad, and I started DJing on a whim in 2002. And now dealing in design.
Introduction	Blogging is new for me but I've seen some interesting blogs and thought I'd give it a try. My sister and I have started a collection of mostly mid-century treasures and are looking forward to developing our passion of "thrifting" and renovating into a lucrative business. So be patient with me while I get the hang of this blogging business and all feedback is welcome.
Interests	My mutt Velha, music, FOOOOOOOD, art especially contemporary, antiques, travel, unique everything, family & friends, a good laugh, fun, living life to the fullest, animal welfare (don't get me started)
Favorite movies	so many...Young Frankenstein, Captain's Courageous, 12 Angry Men, It's All Gone Pete Tong, Team America, Wizard of Oz, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, To Kill A Mockingbird, movies that touch my heart or make me laugh out loud
Favorite music	Too darn eclectic for this small space. But I'm into piano jazz at the moment. I'll always love my deep house and minimal techno. I never get tired of Fela Kuti, and give me my rock & roll any day. Led Zep, Hendrix, ACDC (with Bon Scott), Iggy Pop. Headbanger for life! (or until the arthritis sets in)
Favorite books	too many really.
