| Introduction | If I had the means, I'd throw dinner parties weekly, and when I wasn't entertaining, eat my way around the world. Since that isn't an option (yet), I'm choosing to satisfy this hankering virtually, by sharing my love of food and feeding friends through "Trips Off the Tongue." I create ethnic vegetarian meals made from locally grown and (mostly) organic produce and am a big fan of homemade condiments and desserts. Stories revolving around food will abound. I've worked as a writer for the past 17 years and have 20 years in the food industry; many as a waitress who loved waitressing. I wasn't one of those begrudging artists slinging hash out of desperation. Nurturing people in this way fed me as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please consider signing up to receive notices of new posts. A warm aloha always. |
