| Introduction | SMU Triathlon Club was founded in Fall 2006 by Tatiana Vertiz, an undergrad student passionate about the sport and its lifestyle and with an enormous desire to involve her fellow students, professors, and alumni in the multisport arena. We are open to anyone seeking to explore triathlon for varying reasons...be it a competitve age grouper, one looking to improve their health/fitness, those doing it as an active hobby, and even persons wanting to pursue it on a professional level. ** Our SMU staff/faculty member, advisor, and Club officer is Anne Weil of the Dedman Rec Sports Department.
