| Introduction | I'm a life-long armchair model railroader, collecting HO trains all of my adult life but not finding the space for the layout I wanted until recently. I love postwar Cajon Pass in Southern California (Santa Fe and Union Pacific trains, both steam and early diesel), and I run the CAJON e-mail group at Groups.io. I've co-hosted the Northwest Santa Fe Mini-Meet for the past 20 years. I belong to the Santa Fe Railway Historical and Modeling Society, the Union Pacific Historical Society, the NMRA, LDSIG, OPSIG, and Boeing Employees Model Railroad Club. I plan to model Victorville, the town at the east end of Cajon Pass, in HO scale. |
