| Introduction | I'm a former university professor of Reading Education and bartender. At one point I even did those two jobs at the same time! I also have about twenty years in theater. After spending about a decade taking care of my Dad, I'm now on my own, as Dad passed away at the age of 94 in July, 2012. Now I'm taking some time off and continuing to renovate the house in the hope of starting an "independent living" business here for three elderly ladies. Eventually. I used to make a teensy bit of money reviewing young adult and children's literature for the esteemed Kirkus Reviews, the premier magazine of the publishing industry, but finally quit and now am making loads more $$$ doing AirBnb. When not reveling in life by going actually outside of the house (!),watching eagle and owl live cams, renovating the house, listening to skepticism podcasts, audiobooks, and reading for my own pleasure, I play computer games, mostly adventures. Also: I am insufferably pedantic. You have been warned. |
