| Introduction | Whether through my artwork or writing, I seek ways to make the world better. I obtain a lot of my inspiration from my African heritage and urban experiences. I focus mainly on the plight of Black people in America and other parts of the world. There's a universal message lost sometimes in the many stories of my people. I want to share those with the world using creative writing and fine art. |

| Favorite movies | I like the work of indies especially documentaries. |
| Favorite music | Jazz, Reggae, Caribbean and African, R&B (60's and 70's mostly), and some experimental. Oddly too nature sounds. |
| Favorite books | My book, RUN INTO BLACKNESS: FEELING MY POETIC GUMBO. Regarding other books, this list would be too long. I'm an avid reader of mostly novels, poetry, plays, and biographies. Any book which takes me into someone's doorway is inviting to me. |
