| Introduction | Hello there! My name is Kara Livingston and I am an Animal Advocate. Uh-oh. Did that set off a red flag in your head?...well, give me a chance. I promise that I am not that different from you...like me, many of you have grown up with animals. I recently received my BA in English at Siena College and am currently enrolled in Hudson Valley Community College's Animal Advocacy Certificate Program. Through this program and volunteer, rescue groups I have worked with, I have realized that in order for a society to function peacefully, it has to start with respecting our furry friends-including farm animals & exotics. We have been missing this link for many years now. Don't worry-I'm not going to come throw paint at your house if you don't agree with my posts...I would just really appreciate if you took a moment to see what the world is like, through the eyes of the animals.
