Introduction	I'm a novice Greenie, just trying to find my way. Happily married and proud mother of one nearly two-year old daughter, Anna Claire. "Green" has become so trendy in the last few years. And while the economy was booming, that was cool. Now things are starting to sour. Gas prices are rising and so are the prices of everything else. I'm all about saving the Earth, but I also need to save some dough! We're paying down student loans, car loans and mortgages all while trying to save for a new car, new furniture, our child's college savings and our own retirement. That does not leave us the financial freedom to raise our grocery bill by 30% to buy organic or to splurge on trendy "green" products. If the celebrities love it, I probably can't afford it. My mission is to use the wisdom of my grandparents (they made it through the Depression, after all) and my own common sense to try to save money and be good to Mama Mundo.
