| Introduction | Johnson Beaven III serves in the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) denomination as executive secretary and director of education for the Int'l. Department of Evangelism, and chairman of district superintendents in the Indiana North Central Jurisdiction. He is a contributing Spiritual Outlook columnist for the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper. He was a former site coordinator and instructor of the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) Certificate in Theology Program, and a former adjunct at the Indianapolis extension of Simmons College of Kentucky. He graduated from Ball State University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, with graduate studies at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He was listed among the COGIC’s 100 Influential Pastors in 2014. He has been featured in several editions of Who's Who In Black Indianapolis®. |
