| Introduction | I am a public school superintendent and was named an Illinois Superintendent of Distinction in 2015. My previous district was named the Illinois Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development's Exemplary District for Whole Child Education in 2019 and District Administration named another of my previous districts a national District of Distinction for its work in leadership development. I embrace innovation, having brought teams to Harvard's Scaling for Impact program and the AASA/SPN's Innovation and Transformational Leadership Network. I have presented at several national and regional conferences on the topics of innovation, change leadership, and systems theory, including the National Conference on Education and Model Schools. A former drummer, I have seen Bob Dylan perform live 48 times. I am a former college baseball coach who only recalls those good old days every day that I am alive. |
