| Introduction | Hi! My name is Corey. My husband John and I have been married for three years--though we've been together for almost 8 years! In case you're wondering, that means we got together when I was 18 and he was 19. We got engaged after 4 months of dating, right before he got deployed for a year in Iraq. We were engaged for FOUR YEARS before we finally set the date and got married. We were planning on waiting at least five years before we tried to get pregnant, but on Oct. 25, 2011, we found out that I was a month pregnant with our daughter, Olivia. To say we were surprised was an UNDERSTATEMENT! We decided I should stay at home with her for as long as I could before trying to get a job (which turned out to be seven long months!) I love my family and I LOVE being a mommy! It's hard and sometimes (a lot of the time!) I feel like John and I are too young to be parents, but we love our baby and would do anything for her. We're just taking it day by day, trying to figure it out, and praying that we can cover any therapy bills she may need later in life... Lol |
