| Introduction | I was perm free for about 2.5 years before I decided to get locks. I was tying new hair styles for natural hair and had scheduled an appointment for two strand twists. The loctician had some beautiful traditional locks and she began to share her story and before I knew it she was putting twists in my hair to start my traditional locks and that was February 2007. The following month my son had a doctor's appointment, who has had locks since I've known her well over six years. She noticed that I had began to lock and stated that they were going to be heavy once they began to grow.....I complimented her on her hair and she told me to check out her consultant, Denise of Nu-bian Solutions. To make a long story short, I went to their website and then to the Sisterlocks site and another site and another..... I FELL IN LOVE and just had to have THEM! I politely called my traditional loctician and told her that I was switching over to SISTERLOCKS and that is how my journey began! Installed April 4-5, 2007 |
