| Introduction | My "interests" below say all you need to know. My family’s listed first because they stand for everything that is, well, me. They shaped the person I am today and support that person as well. Born and raised in St. Louis, I am the third of four children, equally close to all siblings, and my parents are my lifeline. I grew up spending a lot of time in Colorado with my family, which is part of my reason for loving the Rockies. I love everything about the mountains. Skiing them, hiking them, looking at them, etc. The Aspen trees in the fall are stunning, but the way the snow hugs the branches in the winter is hard to beat. I’ve been babysitting since age four...not really, but that's how old I was when my brother John was born, and ever since I have loved few things more than spending time with children. Who doesn't savor a good laugh, a moving photograph, or a well-done film? Now, being in Italy away from my friends, more than ever, I feel my time spent engaged in those activities is best when in the company of my close friends. In closing, I am a white wine enthusiast, who depends on ice cream to solve her problems. |
