| Introduction | Hello, this is Jodie here! Writing has always bee apart of me from a very young age-I haven't yet grasped its full fledged force as to how essential language (and poetry) is in shaping our world. I have participated in slams and open mikes on many occasions. I have a big interest in the arts and youth empowerment. I don't just write because someone introduced me to the craft, IT IS EMBEDED IN ME! I love being a part of things that are greater than me such as community projects.
