| Introduction | is a professor of music at Clemson University. Recently, Dr. Li-Bleuel was selected as a Fulbright scholar grantee to Taiwan and will teach piano and give recitals at Chinese Culture University in Taipei. In 2006-7, she was a visiting associate professor at Shaanxi Normal University in Xian, China and at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China. She has performed in Spain, Austria, Japan, Ireland, and throughout the United States, and has been a guest recitalist on the North/South Consonance series in New York City, the Music From Almost Yesterday concert series in Milwaukee and the Bridge New Music Series at Lincoln Center. Dr. Li-Bleuel has recorded for Arizona University Recordings and ACA Digital. She was the director of the 2002 and 2005 Clemson University Woman's Arts Festivals, and was a National Endowment for the Arts recipient for her work on the 2005 Clemson University Women’s Arts Festival. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Georgia, a Master of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. |
