Introduction	be•yond•the•cur•tain (bē-änd thə ‘kər-tən) 1: a peek beyond the often quiet façade of a young woman as she celebrates the beauty of the world around her with textile crafts, prepares for a career as an archivist, and considers carefully the cost of consumerism and her use of the world’s resources. 2: the state of living in the presence of the One True God through the redemption of his Son; comes from the biblical book of Hebrews, chapter 10 verses 19—22 which states: “Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a full heart in full assurance of faith…” (ESV).
