| Introduction | My first year of working in Perfume,at a passionate and impressionable sixteen years old, introduced me to an artform that combined three areas of lifelong interest, specifically Magic, the Mysterious, and the Human Brain. Case in point: .A spritz of Shalimar can weaken the knees, the Tresor worn on a honeymoon can rekindle a long dead romance, Curve, its reported, can trigger undeniable urges of the most improper sort within 4-5 seconds of detection. But even knowing how olfactory stimuli plug into the evocative processes of the limbic system, the mysterious effect of certain fragrances on the human brain still straddle the line between science and magic. The act of perfuming ourselves and our spaces remains the most modern equivalent of casting a magic spell. There is no ignoring that which smells like hell, and no forgetting that which smells like heaven. |
| Interests | Writing, Perfume, Perfumery, Herbalism, Aromatherapy, Jewelry, Custom Crafting Perfume, Jewelry, Natural Cosmetics and Body Products,........ Writing was, as best I can recall,my first Love. But following swiftly on its heels were my many Aesthetic passions ...perfume,paintings,herbal body and beauty products and jewelry.Custom work is my specialty. All my life I've been happily aware of what I believe is a God-given gift that allows me to see the unique beauty each person possesses. In all my pursuits, I've found that the common thread winding through them all is the act of expressing and enhancing those qualities that lend every individual their own, absolutely unique Beauty. |
