Introduction Born in London in 1946, had BA (Sussex)in international relations. Active in Polish Solidarity Campaign and its Chairman in 1982/83. 1990-1993 Vice Chair of the Federation of Poles in GB and in 1992 campaigned to abolish visas for Poles in the UK. Later as FPGB spokesman I challenged the anti-Polish campaign in the "Daily Mail". I was a columnist in the "Ealing Gazette" and author of "Hello I'm Your Polish Neighbour" (2008) and "Polak Londynczyk" (2011) 1994-2001 edited "Orzel Bialy". Councillor in Ipswich in 1979-1980. In 1983 I was Labour candidate for Bury St Edmunds and in 1984 Euro candidate for Suffolk and S.E.Cambs. As Ealing Borough Councillor in the years 1986-1990 I was Ealing's transport and ecology spokesman.I inaugurated the direct Greenford-Paddington rail link. In the early 1990s I chaired an Action Group which saved Ealing Common from a destructive road tunnel. Formerly an administrator in a City trading company, now employed by the London Chamber of Commerce. Married since 1972 to Albina Drabik, with one son Sandro, born 1990. Have received the Polish Golden Order of Merit (1992) "Bene Merito" medal (2010) and Commander's Croos of the Order of Merit (2014).
