| Introduction | Mother of Two Utterly Indescribable Individuals - ages 11 and 12. Owner of aforementioned Gift Shop, Rose and Dylan Ltd (www.roseanddylan.com 6 George Street, St Albans, 01727 833576 www.roseanddylan.com - never say I don't seize an advertising opportunity) Partly too tightly wound for my own good, partly too laid back to ever achieve all the things I want to, always surprised (these days) about how very very strange life can be. I have recently come out of the closet openly about my knitting/crochet/yarn addiction by turning what was previously a gift shop into a yarn heaven. Oh yes, and even though I've been terribly slack at blogging over the last year, it must be noted that I do still have my fully formed attraction to The Dark Side ready to rear it's head at any given moment... |
| Interests | If I ever had any, I have completely forgotten what they are, as this shop has taken over my whole life. One thing I do still know, I love to spend time with my family - although I'm sure they will agree that it doesn't happen often enough... |

| Favorite books | Pretty much ALWAYS children's books. They are so much better - they have depth, meaning, symbolism, life lessons and they don't overfaff and intellectualise on them. I like life to be clear and straightforward (although I'm not naive enough to believe that it actually is) and I try to always 'say things as I see them'. Children's books deliver for me. Simple. |
