I'm a 60-something mother and writer and once upon a time I lived in Notting Hill. But, when I hit middle age, I became invisible. So I moved to the country and since 1998 have lived in a 300-year old house in England's stunning South West, a long way from anywhere - and became truly invisible. But at least I can play those old 45s at full volume...and dance with the dogs. My blog is a bit of a rag-bag: stuff that interests me, odd people and bizarre occurences, books that have gripped me, news that has stopped me in my tracks, sounding off about lacklustre politicians and Royals on the make, heart-stopping moments, music that makes my heart sing, and the compulsion to write - all stirred together with a liberal dose of '60s nostalgia (captured on film and otherwise). |
