| Introduction | The blog name is a quote from Raising Arizona. I have a kind, handsome husband and four sweet, rambunctious, punching, hugging, light-sabering boys. Calvin is 8 and ridiculously smart; Milo Asher is 6, and amazingly clever; Elias is 3 and is funny and delicious. Dashiell is 1 and an incredibly wonderful 4th (and final) child - fun, physical, and goes with the flow. All my men, little and big, are the loves of my life. While I do get caught up in everyday annoyances - the noise, the mess, the "I won't eat thats", I also savor this time of my life when my kids are home with me, I'm the most important person in their lives, and I can scoop them up and kiss them any time I want. We've lived in Utah, Iowa, and now the Carolinas. We've been through a lot and will go through so much more. Life is hard. But life is good. |
