Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
with a knife. It doesn't really work with teeth or fingernails. I suppose you could boil it- works with tomatoes. On a side note, there's an old saying (from the time of covered wagons and barn raisings) that if you toss a long apple peeling over your shoulder, the letter it makes when it lands on the ground is the first initial of the guy you'll marry. I'm still looking for X.....
