| Introduction | After realizing that I could put all the many hours of TV I watch to good use, I decided to pursue the life of academia. I'm currently working on my Master's in media studies and hope to get a PhD in something similar. My general interests in media studies are television, British popular culture, Sherlock Holmes and I also enjoy a good talk on postmodernism. The majority of my academic research has been focused on Sherlock Holmes but I don't feel comfortable calling myself an expert. More like a well educated fan. One day I would like to explore social commentary in American television compared to British television. |
