| Introduction | I know that God named me. Mytra Victoria Layne.My first name means "myrtle tree." The Myrtle is a symbol of peace and victory. My middle name means victorious. Instead of ashes, God has given me a beautiful headdress. Instead of mourning, God has given me the oil of gladness. Instead of heaviness, He has given me the garment of praise. Instead of shame, there is a double portion and everlasting joy. Instead of the brier, God will raise up the myrtle. I am an oak of Righteousness, planted so that the Lord may be glorified; he causes righteousness and praise to sprout up throughout the nations through me. If I am the tree, my parents are the nation and greater things are yet to be done! |
