| Introduction | I am a physician by profession but a perpetual learner by vocation. I am into a number of things including, but not limited to, history (especially comic book and ancient history) and cognitive science (especially the science of memory). I maintain this blog but have not been writing much lately. I still have lots of drafts that need editing, and these drafts may never find their way into the blog. These days, my posts in Blogger are spur-of-the-moment write-ups. However, you will know intuitively the write-up is premeditated when you see numerous carefully arranged notes and references. I was baptized Roman Catholic but was educated in a born-again high school, so I became a fundamentalist Christian in my teenage years. Becoming aware of my homosexuality contributed to my becoming a liberal Christian later on. I became enlightened (an atheist) in my mid 40s and remain an atheist now that I delight in my golden, past half-century days. |
