Introduction	I am 60 years old. Supported Liverpool all my life. Went to A&B games with my dad when I was a kid Saw my first Anfield match 1960 but can't remember who, may have been Leyton Orient. Home and away with my dad during the 60& 90's. Played against LFC Res v New Brighton 1971, Keegans last game in ressies before flying out to Germany to join up with first team. Team had Yeats Thompson Keegan Evans Whitham and we won 2-1. Drove the team on a number of occasions to Melwood from Anfield for training. That was the time I remember Ray for being an absolute gent. Some of the players were prima donna material, but Ray always had a word with the driver. Also felt by other drivers who drove them on occasions. Have played competitively till last march when a back injury from work was aggravated against Northwich Vics. Was part of the supporters league double winners last season. Am sad that Ray was affected by Parkinsons and especially so as he contracted it during his playing days.
