| Introduction | I am the fifth of seven girls in my family. I attended Kingsway College in Oshawa, Crawford Academy in Toronto, Centennial College and the Toronto School of Business. I have one son who I love dearly. I've worked as a legal secretary for many years. I like walking in a beautiful garden, mostly when the dew is still on the roses, on a beach, when the sun is half way behind the horizon. I like the sound of a clock ticking in a silent room, thunder and rain, the ocean, a babbling brook, the singing of birds and flowers. I despise poverty, hypocrisy and any form of injustice, weather it's toward me or others. I like to see people happy and to be around people who make me laugh - as they say, laughter is the best medicine. I grew up in a home where there was a love for God. I enjoyed going to church with my family when I was young. There was a time when I had stopped going to church, and noticed when I did I would feel lost and empty. I try to have a close relationship with my Creator by praying and reading the Bible. I still have problems but I usually find peace when I turn to his Holy Word. |
