Introduction	Darian is a writer who has dabbled in non-fiction but much prefers to make stuff up. His short stories have done well in various competitions and publications, including being up for a Sir Julius Vogel Award three times (and although he is yet to go home with the shiny trophy, he contributed to an anthology that did). He is in the process of making the transition to published novels. After all, the best career ever would be to write down one's daydreams and get paid for it.
