| Introduction | I am the anti-mommy blogger. I am not cute, I am not maternal, I don’t cook or do crafts with my kids, and I don’t cherish every second with my sweet babies (I also have cankles and adult acne). I just try to love them as best as I can and survive the day. I am mostly failing to raise two kids up to the ridiculously high standards of 21st century America, a far cry from my childhood in 1980’s Kenya. I went to boarding school and played in parasite-rich dirt. I believe I am here to tell you that you are enough by openly admitting how much I am sucking. I am fine with sucking. Admitting patently obvious shortcomings is freedom and builds bridges with others. Let’s all suck together. |
