| Introduction | I'm a grad student in cultural anthropology, trying to enjoy life in the Inner Sunset of San Francisco, while I finish my dissertation and teach in Santa Cruz. I fill my days hanging out with my fiance and my cat, and I am honest-to-god obsessed with food. I call my blog Third Culture Kitchen because I'm bicultural, and moved around a lot growing up, between Europe and the US, and have gotten well-practiced at negotiating my way through different cultural approaches to cooking and eating, which has produced what I like to think of as a"third-culture" approach to living life and eating well. |
