IntroductionHere's a bit of info on our little family...
InterestsBeing self provident, Learning about other cultures, foreign films, the outdoors, jazz organ and jazz in general(!), anything having to do with the Muppets, THE GOSPEL, Dorling Kindersley books about everything, guinea pigs and small hairy fat animals in general. I love change and thrive on variety, which is why spring and fall are my favorite seasons, and why I prefer taking a shower over a bath, yet I'm dependable and I gravitate toward dependable people. I love to explore and try new things (unless my life is at risk ;) I also love it when the air becomes static before a storm! I enjoy photography, meeting new people, web design, SURPRISES, organizing things, making things for people, and people who are thoughtful toward others.
Favorite moviesForeign films and oldies make up most of my favorites. I love anything by Hayao Miyazaki ("Spirited Away") or the makers of "Hero" and "House of Flying Daggers". I can always enjoy an old Doris Day, Cary Grant, Marylin Monroe, or Rock Hudson movie (lets face it even though he was gay he was HOT) as well as musicals like "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "South Pacific" and such. I also love movies like "Gladiator", "Emma", "Much Adu About Nothing", and "LIfe is Beautiful". Disney used to be great...luckily Pixar has picked up the ball here... I have to be honest - I really love to watch those OLD BYU MOVIES made from the 50's through the 70's!
Favorite musicRight now I'm really into Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Nat "King" Cole and Ella Fitzgerald-how can you listen to them and NOT be happy?! I'm also a big fan of Count Basie and Oscar Peterson. They are basically the coolest cats on the planet. They are jazz pianists and their album together is AMAZING. Some of my other favorites are Sinatra, Alison Krauss & Union Station, and Diana Krall, a white chick who knows how to groove. I used to be a country listener, but I've found that at the moment I'm more into old school jazz (by the way I invented the phrase "old school") ;) Besides jazzy people I'm a fan of Colbie Callait, Yael Naim, and Joshua Radin.
Favorite booksOne of my favorite things to do is go to the library and read up on topics such as the ecology of western rangelands, hummingbird migration patterns, and animal sociopsychology. James Herriot has to be my favorite author, Jane Austin is also great (why can't we use hopelessly romantic speech like that anymore!? sigh...)

Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:

Wow, that's unexpected. Well I guess you could gather the assistance of an alligator with particularly precise teeth who could turn the apple inside his mouth with it's tongue until it's teeth scraped off all the peel!
