| Introduction | I'm a certified horticulturist, starting over on a blank slate just north of downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. My husband and I bought a renovated 1918 bungalow, and purchased 1/2 of the adjoining lot, which gives us more gardening area, and room for a garage. Our focus is on growing edible crops, along with wildlife-friendly plants for our own enjoyment. There's also a community garden, just across the street and down a few houses. Our house is in the historic Brady Heights neighborhood, which is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Tulsa, with some of the houses built prior to statehood. |
