| Introduction | Born and nurtured in Boston, Massachusetts, Susan Deveney's academic journey began at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. There, she distinguished herself by graduating summa cum laude with a dual major in Political Science and Psychology. Her outstanding performance included her in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Dana Scholar Award for Academic Excellence. Her passion for understanding human behavior and governance led her to pursue a Juris Doctor degree at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, setting the stage for her later endeavors in law and conflict resolution. In 2010, Susan took a significant step in her career by establishing Conflict Resolution Training Inc. (CRT), headquartered in the United States. As the Chief Executive and Head Instructor, she drives the organization's mission to enhance professional development and continuing education focused on conflict resolution and mediation. CRT offers a broad spectrum of training and certification programs to enhance critical skills such as empathy, mindfulness, diversity, inclusion, and leadership in difficult conversations across various professional landscapes. |
