| Introduction | Liz Pennies has loved to create ever since childhood. Whether by making up games, drawing, painting, sculpting, or yes… writing, nothing could thwart that creative drive. As years ticked onward Liz found her inventive skills to also be her greatest escape from the hard realities of life. Her self-illustrated childhood poetry soon gave way. Her endeavors began to evolve and blossom into intricate stories that she entertained friends and schoolmates with. In high school her pen worked in a frenzy as the desks around her secretly passed each page from person to person as the ink attempted to dry. Now she writes in hopes to share the worlds, characters, and adventures she has spun in her head with as many as she can reach. The worlds she creates may not always be utopias, but it’s the flaws that make them fascinating. She lives by the motto, “A story doesn’t always have to be happy to gain happiness from the story.” |
