| Introduction | Jane Pope Cooper is the designer and creative director behind Balboa Collection and Jane Pope Jewelry. In 2001 Jane launched her first collection of reworked vintage statement jewelry, a line signed immediately by BARNEY’s New York and featured in Elle and Glamour. In 2004, Jane was among those named “10 Best Stylemakers to Watch” by Marie Claire. After graduating with a fine jewelry design degree from the Gemology Institute of America in Los Angeles, Jane lived in New York and studied fabrication. Her second line, Jane Pope Jewelry, was launched in 2007, a collection informed by her growing interest in fine jewelry and working with metal and precious materials. Jane Pope Jewelry incorporates imperfect and organic lines in art and fashion. Jane has been featured in Vogue and Refinery 29. Her designs have been seen on the red carpet at the Emmy’s, The Today Show, and is a favorite of celebrities including Natalie Portman, Sienna Miller, Drew Barrymore, Perrey Reeves, and Whitney Port. Today Jane works from a sun-drenched studio and showroom in downtown Spartanburg, SC. She has two children. |
