| Introduction | I'm a retired Regular Army Infantry officer, indulging my penchant for military history. I've been studying the Pennsylvania National Guard in the pre-World War II era for several years. I'm presently concentrating on the 213th CA (AA) as the first Keystone Guardsmen to be mobilized in the run-up to World War II. I'm also fascinated by the circus - both historic circuses and the modern incarnation. I've taught a class in the history of the circus in America; and - as a resident of the Philadelphia area - am especially interested in Adam Forepaugh. |
