About me

Introduction	My name is Jamie Johnson, and I am from O'Fallon, Illinois. I am currently a senior at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. I love dance. I have been dancing for 16 years, and am trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, and Pom. Besides being a full time student, I also teach and take dance classes at Taylor's Dance Academy in O'Fallon. I am currently Miss Capital City 2011. In June 2011 I will compete for the title of Miss Illinois, and in the chance of winning that, have the chance to compete for Miss America. I am a very optimistic person, and always strive to do my best. I live everyday in memory of my late grandpa Millard Gibson, who will always be my inspiration.
