About me

Introduction	I'm certain that from the moment I could talk I was telling stories. I remember finally mastering addition and subtraction in school by creating an elaborate story about all of the numbers and their relationships to one another. I can spin a story so instantly, even I am surprised by the ending! As I matured and began to really sculpt my craft I discovered the political essay, the social inquiry. I began to use my natural calling as a fiction writer to cultivate poignant, relevant and fresh nonfiction essays about our current condition and the history that led us here. I have a lot to say about a lot of things, so my writing is often a cohesive convergence of those things that may not appear, at first sight, to be connected. I'm a visual and performance artist with a pen and a page. My experiences are woven through the meanderings and moods of my two young sons and partner. My desire is to see through the obvious, perhaps instictive, first look and discover something more intriguing, honest and fresh.
