| Introduction | I am Bob Goodnough, a rather antique person (70 years old), with antique views. I live on the flat open prairies of Saskatchewan and call myself a flatlander, but in reality I spent the first nine years of my life in the Coteau Hills near Old Wives Lake in the south-western part of the province. My wife and I have lived in half of the ten provinces of Canada, but came home to Saskatchewan in 1998. We are members of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Many of my views on life and faith are contrary to those espoused by the popular culture around me. Yet I don’t think I am by nature a contrary person and don’t want to call myself a contrarian. My outlook on life is based on the Bible and the old Anabaptist-Mennonite faith that was solidly founded on the Bible. Those views may seem rather antique today, but I believe they offer the best answers for the problems of today. |
