| Introduction | September 17, 2007, I lost my only sibling, my younger brother, to colon cancer. He was only 38, and left behind a wife and two young children. Every day I miss my brother. In January 2011, I put together a team of runners to participate in the Disney Marathon weekend races in his memory. My running partner and I ran 26.2 miles and raised $3,428.90 for the Colorectal Cancer Coalition. Someday, I hope no one else has to lose their brother, sister, son, daughter, husband, wife, father, mother, to colon cancer. |
