After treatment I traveled the country with tape recorder in hand interviewing other cancer patients in their homes, offices, and hospital beds. I turned these interviews into a book full of tips and resources about how best to handle the harsh realities of cancer. I write a lot about doctors, dating, sex, hospitals, health insurance, writing, marriage, money, friendship, and family.
