| Introduction | I was born in Placerville, California. When I was a little tike, my family moved to Lake Tahoe, California where I spent a magical childhood, hiking in the mountains, swimming in the beautiful lake, and sitting around campfires. Hence the title of my blog. And spelled Kamp fire because my maiden name is Kamp. My mom and I spent some time in Honolulu, Hawaii during my high school years. I attended college at BYU, majoring in Theater Arts. Though it took me many years, I went on to receive a Master Degree in Theater from the University of Minnesota. I have now migrated to writing novels--a process which I find extremely enjoyable and extremely difficult. I have a great husband, George, and two wonderful kids, Shawn and Chandler. |
