| Introduction | There’s a part of me that’s always loved dark and tortured writing—Phantom of the Opera, the original Grimm’s Fairy Tales, even early Steven King. Those were the stories that stayed with me, and felt as though they brusied something deep within. So when I thought it was time to start my next story, a traditional historical romance, that part deep within said no. Instead my dark and sadistic muse sent me BROKEN, a love story set in the corrupt and depraved underground of Victorian London. I discovered that the darkest time grows the strongest love. |
