| Introduction | Unsettling to the uninitiated, but with the best of intentions, I am. As a senior at Brown University concentrating in history and urban studies, I read a lot of books. I also race bikes. This spring will be my second season as an ECCC A racer, and this time I won't prematurely end my season by sticking my hand into my wheel during a race. Since that unfortunate deed in March, health problems have kept me off the bike more than I would have liked (though I did lose 25 lbs). I'm looking forward to making the most of my senior year at Brown, getting prepared to have the best possible racing results this spring, and imparting a few years of racing wisdom to my teammates and others. I may end up at a graduate school next year at another ECCC rival or in the UK, but as always I'm a Brown man born, a Brown man bred, and when I die I'll be a Brown man dead. |
