| Introduction | John Adisubrata was born in Surabaya, Indonesia, but now resides in Brisbane, Australia. On a Sunday afternoon in March 1997 his life was changed by the grace of God in a drastic way through a Revival Meeting in his city, presented by two Indonesian Christian music groups: The True Worshippers and VOG (Voice of Galilee). He describes it in his written testimony: Semuanya Adalah Kasih Karunia. Since then he gave his life to the Lord, and promised to be His witness wherever he is. His background is in architecture, which he completed at the RWTH (Rheinisch Westfaelische Technische Hochschule) in Aachen, Germany. After immigrating to Australia he also finished his education at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Brisbane as a teacher in arts and Indonesian language. Being a cartoonist, artist, writer of comic books and short stories in the past, the Holy Spirit challenged him to use those gifts to proclaim the Gospel, and God’s Love to His people, by writing articles, testimonies or books, which He put in his heart. |
