| Introduction | I'm a child of God; a daughter and a daughter-in-law; a sister and a sister-in-law; a wife; a mother and a mother-in-law; a grandmother; an aunt and an aunt-in-law; and a friend. On March 15, 2006 I found a lump in my left breast. The following day I saw a doctor and on the 17th had a mammogram and ultrasound. On March 24th I had an excisional biopsy and on the 27th found out I had invasive breast cancer. On the 31st I had a modified mastectomy and lymph nodes removed. On April 10th I found out that fourteen of the fifteen lymph nodes removed were cancerous. On April 11th I met with an oncologist. On the 17th I had a port a cath inserted under my right collar bone; this is how my chemo will be delivered. On the 19th I found out that the HER-2 test is positive. On May 10th I was told that my CAT and Bone Scans are clear; there are no other tumors in my body. My cancer stage remains at Stage III C. The odds were against me, I thank God for answering our prayers. I began chemo on May 10, 2006. 2009 - Round Two began.
