| Introduction | This talk show has been a dream of mine for over 10 years. Self empowered and joyful living worked so well for me that I knew I must share it with others in a fun and fulfilling way. Often through the years, I felt like a guinea pig in a lab school when I would try to apply and test these ideas in my own life. Initially, it takes courage to follow your bliss because it often requires following your own heart which often runs contrary to the norms of our culture. Therefore, it takes a tremendous amount of faith and trust to move forward especially when you can’t see how things will unfold as you discard old beliefs and habits of thoughts that feel safe but don’t serve as you replace them for those that are new but untested. I often felt like I was taking a giant leap of faith off a cliff with no net. Fortunately, it paid off for me and I have realized many dreams because I was willing to risk and try something new in spite of people who judged and harassed me as they would ridicule and accuse me of neglecting my responsibilities as a mother and a professional for leaving a safe and secure job to follow my dreams. |
