| Introduction | Olen työskennellyt kustomkulttuurin tärkeän osa-alueen, pinstripe -maalauksen ääriella vuodesta 1985 lähtien. Kustomkulttuurin käsityöläisyys on tutkimus, jonka tarkoituksena on jäsentää kustomkulttuurin moninaista maailmaa. Siitä erottuvat taiteilijat ja käsityöläiset, kustomkulttuurin laaja kansainvälinen kenttä, tyylit ja esineet sekä kustomkulttuurin historia. Tutkimuksesta valmistetaan väitöskirja Turun yliopiston etnologian oppiaineeseen. - I have been working with an important part of kustom kulture, pinstriping, since 1995. Im researching the handicrafts and many other facets of kustom kulture to create a doctoral thesis about the kulture. The thesis will be presented at the University of Turku, Finland. Department of European Ethnology. |
