| Introduction | My wife and i started growing daylilies because we liked all the different colors and sizes. Little did we know this flower would become our passion.As Christians we always put God first and pray for His guidance in what we do. Fifteen years ago when i was pulling weeds in another mans garden in trade for daylilies did i know this plant would or could bring such excitement to our lives. We lived on a mountain that had no dirt and we had dirt hauled in and made raised beds and as the seedlings began to bloom we outgrew our land. So we bought a new place that is 7 1/2 acres, fantastic sandy loam dirt and after several years of putting things in a holding pattern we have built a new house and transported plants and began our new garden with the hope of having 4 acres of daylilies to play with. This is trully a labor of love. We hope all that find the lilies can experience the excitement of that new bloom as we have. Jim and Kathy Elliott |
